Where the chimney meets the roof is one of the most common leak points. We check the flashing, the counter-flashing and the masonry around it.

Dormers & valleys
Valleys carry the most water on a roof. We look for worn shingles, gaps and debris where two slopes meet.

The seals and flashing around a skylight often age faster than the roof around them.

Ridge & ventilation
Attic ventilation affects shingle life and ice dams. We check the ridge vent and the cap shingles.
